Our cemetery is church-owned and pastorally run. As a charitable organization, St. Michael's Cemetery provides burial plots in Edmonton with all proceeds being reinvested in the grounds. By planning ahead and getting your affairs in order before you pass, you’ll remove the stress and financial burden from your family. After viewing the cemetery and determining your ideal resting place, you can then purchase and reserve your plot and begin finalizing your final arrangements. Upon your passing, there won’t be any confusion surrounding your wishes and no sudden costs that your family is unprepared for.
Burial Options
St. Michael’s Cemetery is proud to provide two different burial options for our clients*. By doing so, we make it easier for you to choose the option that best suits your budget and wishes.
- Regular-depth burial
Our regular-depth burial is your standard 6-foot-deep grave which facilitates the burial of one casket and ensures proper interment for yourself or your loved one. - Double-depth burial
Our double-depth burial allows for two caskets to be placed within a single plot on top of one another. The burial plot is dug to a depth of nine feet to accommodate the first casket, and the top casket is interred at a depth of six feet.
*Any of our burial plots may be used for single or double-depth interments.
